Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Per Diem
Graduate of an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
Current Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine all scopes including venipuncture certificate.
Current NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT.
Certified Coding Specialist
Part Time
This position is accountable for assigning ICD-9-CM and CPT codes to each patient account. High School Diploma. Associate’s Degree from a two-year college preferred. Two years of Acute Care Coding/Inpatient and Outpatient experience. Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) issued by AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association). Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT).
Clinical Supervisor, Medical Surgical
Full Time
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for management of patient care provided by department personnel. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of the departmental patients in order to ensure that patients and families receive an optimum level of care. The Clinical Supervisor serves as a resource for clinical area activities and overall functioning. The position is also accountable for assisting the Unit Manager with providing leadership to the department, including maximizing personnel abilities and competence, problem resolution, orienting and mentoring department personnel.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; baccalaureate degree encouraged. Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of Telemetry nursing. Current state Registered Nurse Licensure. Current ACLS and BCLS certification.
Operating Room Tech II
Per Diem
High skill level in specialty service lines. This position is responsible for the intraoperative preparation of the sterile field according to the physician’s preference card relating to the type of procedure to include but not limited to: initial case preparation of supplies and instruments needed, creation and maintenance of the sterile field, passing instruments and suture to the surgeon, case completion with surgical suite decontamination and transport of instrumentation to SPD for reprocessing, and assistance, as needed with decontamination of instruments and instrument reprocessing. Responsible for scrubbing in all types of cases, turning over operating rooms between cases.
High School graduate. Minimum 2 years experience in the surgical technician role in the operating room, with extensive skill in specialty service lines such as Neurology, Orthopedics, or Cardio-thoracic. Current BLS certification. Surgical Technician certification preferred
Clinical Pharmacist Specialist
Part Time & Per Diem
Provides for the delivery of basic pharmacy services, patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services, drug information and drug monitoring. Reviews all drug orders and checks work completed by ancillary personnel. Serves as the drug expert and consultant to physicians, nursing staff and other hospital personnel.
Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy, Pharm.D. degree preferred. Two years of hospital experience or completion of a residency program. Current CA Pharmacist License.
Housekeeper
Per Diem
To clean the hospital properly and in accordance with requisite standards of quality, safety and care. Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Department. Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical and waiting areas, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner. High School Diploma or G.E.D. 2-4yrs experience, hospital preferred
Pharmacy Technician
Per Diem
Provides ancillary/technical assistance to the Pharmacist in providing medication to patients. Posts and fill orders, distributes and delivers medications as needed, answers telephones; under the direction of the pharmacist. Prepare and fills IV additive solution and medication orders according to prescribed procedures and the observation and direction of the pharmacist.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of a technician training program or equivalent years of experience to quality for licensing. Prefer 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Current CA Pharmacy Technician Registration. Current Technician Certification preferred, but not required
Anesthesia Technician
Full Time (M-F 4am to 12:30pm)
Performs technical functions relating to the administration of anesthesia, and ensuring adequate supplies are maintained. Assists with instrument processing as needed.
Associate’s Degree in Science or equivalency. Two years of health care related experience or equivalency. Anesthesia or Operating Room experience preferred. BLS Healthcare Provider. Certification as an autologous Blood within 6 months of hire
